http://ping.fm/ngbD3 There are more opinions about whether a minor should do any type of weight training until they have reached puberty. It seems that there are numerous studies that exhibit lifting weights will stunt a minor's growth, however immediately it seems that there are just as many studies that exhibit no effect. I don't really know where I fall in this debate, however I do know that if a minor can play a sport he should be able to have some sort of workout during the offseason.
