Minnesota Vikings History

In their beginning game on September 17 1961, the Vikings offered their admirers a small taste of what the following 47 years would be like. After a sluggish commence rookie quarterback Fran Tarkenton leaped off the bench and started outside working his magic. Tarkenton used four touchdown passes and ran for the following as he guided the Vikes to a 37-13 success over the Chicago Bears. More data: click here.
