Predominantly Inattentive ADHD, a DSM V Category All Their Own

The DSM manual is a tool used by researchers, insurance companies, and physicians to identify mental conditions. Changes to the Predominantly Inattentive category of ADHD are proposed for the revised DSM due to be released in 2013. Two of the proposed changes would give folks currently categorized and ADHD-PI, a house of their own sort of speak. Giving the predominantly inattentive subtype its own DSM category would allow for more identification, study, and appropriate treatment of this condition. Please glance at on to learn more.
